Characteristics

Watering

• Moderate • Keep the substrate lightly moist, without waterlogging • Let the top layer dry out a little between waterings Does not tolerate overwatering.

Soil

Light, well-drained, slightly acidic soil (pH 5.5–6.5). A mix of peat or coconut fiber plus perlite or sand works best. Avoid overwatering: it does not tolerate waterlogging.

Bright but indirect light Can tolerate gentle sun (morning/afternoon) Avoid strong direct sun, especially in warm climates

Its fruit is a small brown capsule about 1.5 cm long
